CupSpot Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

CupSpot ("the app") helps you discover coffee shops near you. This policy explains how the app handles your information. We have designed CupSpot to collect as little data as possible.

Information We Collect

CupSpot does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or any personal identifiers. We do not operate a server that stores your information.

Location

When you tap "Find Coffee Near Me," the app requests your device location in order to search for nearby coffee shops. Your location is used only on your device and only at the moment you perform a search. CupSpot does not store your location history and does not transmit your location to us or to any third party for tracking or advertising. Coffee shop search is performed using Apple's MapKit services; your use of those services is subject to Apple's privacy practices.

Favorites

Coffee shops you save as favorites are stored only on your device. This information is not uploaded to us or shared with anyone. If you delete the app, your saved favorites are removed.

Third-Party Services

CupSpot uses Apple Maps and MapKit to find coffee shops and to provide directions when you choose to open a location in the Maps app. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

CupSpot does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
